Will is grateful to be a part of our wonderful team of teachers. He found the studio as a student during his extensive journey training as an actor. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Theater, Philosophy, and Urban Studies from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from Columbia University.
Throughout his undergrad, he participated in outreach art/music programs teaching and tutoring in underserved communities in Detroit and surrounding areas. While at Columbia University, his passion for teaching acting grew as he taught Shakespeare to middle and high schools in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan Public school in outreach arts programs.
This eventually led to directing and teaching kids and teens in full length plays for Christopher Columbus High School, The American Stage, and LA Drama Club (youngest Shakespeare Co. in the US)
Will is originally from multilingual Miami, FL and grew up speaking three languages (Spanish/French/English). He also worked as a Casting Associate and managed the Latin/Spanish department for Castings in Miami. Here in LA, he taught at prestigious performing arts High Schools including The Ramón C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts, Grand Arts and LACHSA helping young actors get into Juilliard, NYU and Carnegie Mellon.
As an actor, he has recently been on ABCs The Conners and Fox’s 9-1-1. He has done several feature films including a few award winning short films. Will’s New York theater experience is extensive, most notable credits include, As You Like It at Classic Stage Co. (Off broadway) and premiering plays with Obie award winning theatre troupe Vampire Cowboys.
Besides his acting career, he also taught yoga and has trained in five different styles of yoga since 2014. Helping people and exploring mind body connection has grown as a passion for him. Finding the Margie Haber Studio was truly a way to incorporate all his skill and experience to share with creative minds. Will is very fond of the students and the staff at the Margie Haber Studio who are all “living the life”.
