Heather Locklear – Actress, “Boston Legal”, “Scrubs”

“Working with Margie while shooting a procedural TV show keeps me open to discovery and grounds me in a life.  She helped me invest more in the relationships I have with the other characters, and in each mystery-of-the-week, to find the details that I can explore to live the life more fully.  I have a lot more fun on set after I’ve pulled a script apart with her, and I am better able to roll with the quickly-moving punches of such a fast-paced shooting schedule.”

– Emily Swallow – “The Mentalist”

“Studying with Margie was a very rewarding experience. With Margie you get what you see. The simplicity yet depth of her approach gave me the ability to realize the power of stillness and that her process is all about capturing the truth. The Haber technique is by far one of the most effective tools I use when I’m auditioning.”

Haaz Sleiman – 2008 Spirit Award Nominee for The Visitor

“Margie Haber is a great teacher for any level of actor. She can help you take your auditioning skills to the next level. She is fantastic in every way.”

Rick Springfield – Musician & Actor, “Californiation”, “General Hospital”

“I’ve studied at several different acting studios and classes in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles and I have to say, no other place prepared me for the real world of auditioning and landing a job as well as the Margie Haber Studio has.”

Kelly Preston – Actress, “Medium”, Jerry Maguire

“After Margie’s second class I got “Days of Our Lives.” It’s a testament to what she teaches. Her technique helped me get this job. It’s concise, it’s specific and I had a lot of fun.”

Lisa Rinna – Actress, “Veronica Mars”, “Melrose Place”, “Days of Our Lives”

“When I worked with Margie on the movie, Touch, I was all over the place until she centered my attention on the other character and VOOM! I was suddenly focused. She’s got the magic touch.”

Tom Arnold – Stand-Up Comedian, Actor

“Margie’s intensive, as well as classes are the exact acting workout/ tune up I needed between seasons. Her focus on specifics, relationship to the other actor, and freedom from “mistakes” give me confidence that is not only valuable to the audition room but every day I show up on set. Practical work that benefits my day to day work on screen.”

Emily Rose – Actress, “Haven”

“Margie teaches to find the core of the character using a blend of my imagination and my real life experiences.  To make choices that feed me and effect me emotionally… otherwise what’s the point?!  Margie makes me excited about the unknown and teaches me to fall forward with the glass half-full attitude.  She turned “acting” into “living,” and having her app is like having her with you in your pocket!”

Travis Van Winkle – Series Regular, “The Last Ship” (TNT)

“I began acting when I was 13 in London where I was fortunate enough to land the lead role on a feature film called Sixty Six on my first ever audition. Helena Bonham Carter played my mother in the movie and Eddie Marsan played my father, so once I worked with such an amazing cast, I knew acting (“living lives”) was something I really wanted to do. The next couple of years after the movie, I was working on television for the BBC, Channel 4 and Disney in the UK.  I then decided that I wanted to go to Los Angeles and see where it took me. With the full support from my parents, I came out to Los Angeles and auditioned for the Emmy-winning show called “Wizards of Waverly Place” on Disney Channel to play Selena Gomez’ love interest. Once I knew the audition had been scheduled, Margie was my first phone call. I knew that if anyone could help me get the part, it was Margie. So after making my audition performance about 99 percent better than it was going to be, I nailed the audition. Selena Gomez came in to read with me at the screen test, and I never had a doubt in my mind that I was going to book the role and my mind frame and confidence was completely down to Margie’s words “make the other person more important than you” which I took into the audition with me.However I did the audition and I went back to London as that what still my home at the time. So I went home and didn’t hear anything for weeks, until I got the phone call saying I booked my FIRST EVER JOB IN HOLLYWOOD.I flew back out here to start shooting, however my work with Margie did not stop there. Throughout the shoot and on weekends we went through different parts of the script that I could improve on. I remember I went for a lesson at Margie’s house where she made me sing very loud, dance and run around her swimming pool until I was dizzy in order for me to completely lose myself in the scene (“slice of life”) and naturally feel the natural feelings my character was experiencing at the time. There are a lot of acting coaches in this town and I would never write something for the sake of it, so what I am about to write is what I truly mean and feel: without Margie’s help, I wouldn’t be in Los Angeles living my dream. Without Margie’s help, I wouldn’t have become a better actor, and without Margie’s help, I wouldn’t have become a better person. She is a fantastic coach, the most caring woman I know, and I LOVE HER! Thank you Margie who being who you are!”

Gregg Sulkin – Series Regular, “Wizards of Waverly Place,” Series Regular – “Faking It,” Recurring Guest Star – “Pretty Little Liars”

Colin Egglesfield (Something Borrowed, “Rizzoli & Isles,” “The Client List,” “All My Children”) shares how working with Margie Haber has helped his audition process.
