Diane brings a unique blend of experience as an actor, producer, director, and coach to the Margie Haber Studio, where she has been teaching for nearly a decade. As an Executive Producer, she earned Emmy and Producers Guild Award nominations for Showtime’s Web Therapy starring Lisa Kudrow, and has produced more than 270 celebrity-driven projects featuring Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Mindy Kaling, Will.i.am, and many others. She also directed the feature film The Choices We Make, holds a screenwriting credit, and coached actors on the international feature Jungle Cry.
Before her producing career, Diane worked steadily in television, film, and theater in both Chicago and Los Angeles. Her credits include a four-year recurring role on The Young and The Restless, a lead opposite Roger Daltrey in film, a five-year run as the television spokesperson for Advil, and a lead role in a play written and directed by Joe Mantegna.
Diane holds a BA in Telecommunications and Theatre from Indiana University, where she studied Stanislavski, and later trained in the Meisner technique in Chicago. She also earned an MA in Psychology from Antioch University and led performance-based workshops for actors, musicians, casting directors, and industry professionals alongside her private counseling practice.
Known for her empathetic and intuitive approach, Diane helps actors to trust themselves and replace panic with power and passion, combining her deep industry knowledge with psychological insight to guide actors toward more confident, authentic work both on and off the screen. Connecting with people in a way that helps them feel more seen and empowered is what brings her real joy.
