All class payments are nonrefundable & nontransferable 2 weeks prior to class start date. For our Intensive Studies Program (ISP), class payments are nonrefundable 1 month prior to class start date. It is the actor’s responsibility to be committed to the class for which they have enrolled and to help ensure our small class size at the studio. Any requests to withdraw enrollment need to be made in writing to email@example.com 2 weeks prior to class start date.
For intensive courses, class payment is made in full unless the student opts for the payment plan option by filling out the credit authorization form. For the payment plan option, a 50% deposit is due upon reservation and the 50% remaining balance is due on the first day of class. Once you have committed to a class, you have committed to the full payment of the class irrespective of attendance.
For ongoing courses, payment is due in full upon reservation using the link that is sent out to you. If you are currently enrolled in an ongoing class and want to continue registration for the following upcoming session, you must pay in full by the fourth class of your current session to secure your spot. After the fourth session of each ongoing class, space is made available to those on the wait list for the next round and the Intensive classes.
Attendance & Make-Up Policy:
If you will be late or absent please email to notify us in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org. You are also welcome to email your teacher directly all emails are their first email@example.com.
MAKE UP POLICY FOR INTENSIVES
Actors are allowed to make up one missed class only. The makeup class must be completed in the following month’s session. The actor will make up the same class missed with the same instructor, i.e. if the third class is missed, the actor may make up the third class in the following month’s session with the same instructor. Please note for your own records, which class you missed, as the studio does not keep track of attendance. If you plan to make up a class, please email the office at firstname.lastname@example.org noting which class you are in, and which class you missed and we will let you have the makeup date and add you to the list.
In a make-up class, the actor may audit and is not guaranteed to work. The teacher will allow the student to work only if there is the room available for the actor to do so. Make-ups are extended as a courtesy of the studio and are not the responsibility of the studio.
MAKE UP POLICY FOR ONGOING CLASSES
Students are offered to make up one missed class only. The makeup class must be completed within that month. Credits do not “roll-over”. On-going make-ups are to be done in another course of the same level (except in the Foundation (beginning) level where a makeup is not possible) In a make-up class; the actor may ‘audit’ and is not guaranteed to work. The teacher will allow the student to work only if there is the room available for the actor to do so. Make-ups are offered as a courtesy of the studio and are not the responsibility of the studio.
Please leave the studio in the same or better condition than when you arrived. You are responsible to dispose of your own trash, etc.
