  • Dive deeper into Margie’s 10-step approach to creating and living a life with more challenging scripts
  • Replace unhelpful habits you don’t realize you’re doing with purposeful, connected behavior
  • Learn how to create characters using specificity and your unlimited imagination
  • Build your self-confidence and find your authentic voice as an artist
  • Work directly with top industry coaches on your craft and career

START YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY

Over the course of eight classes in four weeks, this training takes you deeper into Margie’s philosophy of creating and living a life. Designed for actors who have already built a foundation, this intensive focuses on developing the necessary skills to work professionally and consistently in today’s industry.

You’ll let go of the need to “perform” and “impress” and step into the reality of human connection, building relationships, your environment, and the life of the character. This class helps you develop a method for approaching the work with specificity, without being overly technical. This class is essential for actors who are auditioning and seeking real work in the industry.

Please note: This class is not for beginners. Participants must have prior training (with our studio or other reputable acting programs), or prior experience in film, TV, theater, or commercials. To be considered, please email your materials (resume, reel, IMDb, etc.) to [email protected], or attend a free Intro Class to audition and receive a class level placement.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

Will Gressman

Will is grateful to be part of the Margie Haber Studio’s incredible team of teachers. He first came to the studio as a student while training extensively as an actor.

Will holds a B.A. in Theater, Philosophy, and Urban Studies from the University of Michigan and an M.F.A. in Acting from Columbia University. During his undergrad, he was deeply involved in outreach art and music programs, teaching and tutoring in underserved communities across Detroit. At Columbia, his passion for teaching grew as he led Shakespeare workshops in Bronx and Upper Manhattan public schools. This eventually led to directing full-length youth productions for Christopher Columbus High School, The American Stage, and LA Drama Club (the youngest Shakespeare company in the U.S.).

Originally from multilingual Miami, Florida, Will grew up speaking Spanish, French, and English. He has worked as a Casting Associate, managing the Latin/Spanish department for a casting office in Miami, and taught at top performing arts high schools in Los Angeles, including Grand Arts and LACHSA, helping students gain admission to elite programs like Juilliard, NYU, and Carnegie Mellon.

As an actor, Will has appeared on ABC’s The Conners, FOX’s 9-1-1, and in several feature and award-winning short films. His New York theater credits include As You Like It at Classic Stage Company (Off-Broadway) and original productions with the Obie Award-winning troupe Vampire Cowboys. In addition to acting, Will is a certified yoga teacher with training in five styles since 2014, reflecting his ongoing passion for the mind-body connection.

Finding the Margie Haber Studio felt like a natural way to bring together all of his experience to teach, inspire, and grow alongside a vibrant creative community. He remains deeply inspired by the students and staff, all of whom are “living the life.”

Iman Nazemzedeh

Iman is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts, with a professional career and educational journey spanning 24 years. He made his television debut in 2003 on NBC’s Saving Jessica Lynch during his final year at SMU. Upon graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed roles in NBC’s LAX and the feature film Sin City.

After winning a national screen test competition on CBS’s The Early Show, Iman was cast in a recurring role on The Young and the Restless. Since then, he has appeared in more than a dozen primetime TV shows, including NCIS: Hawai‘i, The Old Man, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Chosen.

Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2004, Iman has continuously expanded his craft through both professional work and dedicated training. In 2014, he launched a production company with his brother, focusing on writing and directing short films and concept pieces that explore cultural identity and social issues.

He is passionate about working with actors and, even more so, about connecting with people on a deeper level. Iman is profoundly grateful to be part of the Margie Haber Studio, a space that encourages not only the development of acting technique, but also a deeper connection to the self – leading to a more authentic, truthful, and fulfilling life both on and off camera.
