Start Your Creative Journey
In the Foundation Intensive, our coaches introduce beginner actors to the Haber Philosophy of creating and living the life. Using material from film and television, students learn to shift their focus off of “performing” and instead bring their most imaginative, intuitive, and present selves to the acting process, while building their confidence along the way. In a safe and supportive environment, students develop and practice the basic skills needed for breaking down a script, working on-camera, auditioning, self taping, and “living the life.”

Gabriella Gonzalez Biziou
What lights you up? As a Foundation Intensive and Foundation Ongoing class teacher, Gabriella, aka Gaby, brings in both her hard-earned practical knowledge from her many years as a working actor here in LA and her core value of the actor as an artist into her teaching, giving her students relevant, usable skills while guiding them in the discovery of their own authentic embodiment in their work. Her experience informs her teaching emphasis on empathy and relationship while encouraging imaginative exploration and play as the foundation for new actors.
Gaby has been a working actor in Los Angeles for over 10 years, originally from Austin, TX. She received her BA from the Sarofim School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University studying Theatre and Art History, while simultaneously taking additional classes outside of university in scene study and later completing a 2-year Meisner Intensive program alongside other established acting coaches and studios throughout the years.
Her acting career thus far includes leading roles in award-winning indie dramedies, femme fatales in period piece old western drama TV shows and 1930s noir-inspired indies, hero-saving detectives, and vapid party girls. Notably, she’s acted in the critically acclaimed series Sorry for Your Loss, and her independent films have gained 15+ awards including Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
In addition to her film work, she brings in her experience as a stage actress and has expanded her interests into writing, directing and producing; having written, cast, directed and produced her own short play, To the Moon and Back, and was associate producer on the award-winning short film, Foolhardy Love.
