Melanie Nicholls-King

Melanie Nicholls-King is a Canadian/American actress with Trini roots best known for playing Cheryl in the HBO series, The Wire; Officer Noelle Williams in the ABC/Global series, Rookie Blue; and Hazel LaCroix, in the beloved Netflix/CBC series, Anne with an E. She can also be seen in Orphan Black onCTV/BBC America, The Week Of with Adam Sandlerand Chris Rock on Netflix, Star Trek: Discovery on CBS, Little Fires Everywhere with Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington on AmazonPrime, Your Honor with Bryan Cranston on Showtime, Black Bird with Taron Edgerton and Paul Walter Hauser on Apple TV+, and The Gilded Age with Audra McDonald and Cynthia Nixon on HBO, to name a few. On stage, she was thrilled to be a part of the Playwright Horizons’ production of “Familiar” written by Danai Gurira, directed by Tonyaward-winning director, Rebecca Taichman and featuring an ensemble of actors that included the incredible Tamara Tunie. In the audio world, she can also be heard on Melissa Valentine’s searing memoir, The Names of All the Flowers, Christina Sharpe’s In the Wake: OnBlackness and Being, the Audie nominated sci-fi book, Sylvain Neuvel’sNo Kindness Too Soon, Colin Kaepernick’s Change the Game and AlisonBechdel’s Dykes to Watch Out For. She can also be seen on the Paramount+ feature film, Little Wing with Brian Cox and in 2025, the Apple TV+ feature film, Wildvale starring Julianne Moore and Fiona Shaw.
Kimberly Huie

Kimberly Huie is a Jamaican born, Canadian raised actor currently based between Toronto and New York City. After studying at Circle in the Square Theater School in NY, she landed a series regular role back in Toronto with the makers of the Degrassi franchises. She soon relocated to Los Angeles where she worked as a Guest Star on shows like CSI, NYPD BLUE, GREY’S ANATOMY, CSI MIAMI, and ANDROMEDA. In between there have been countless commercials, some Pilots, and a few movies ranging from blockbusters like DEEP IMPACT to the low budget indie PASSENGER SIDE with Adam Scott. Most recently she has recurred as Grace Dixon on the OWNtv nighttime drama KINGS OF NAPA and Fantine in CITY ON FIRE on APPLEtv. Favorite roles include Mrs. Margaret Washington opposite Octavia Spencer in Netflix’s SELF MADE and Adult Lauren in the slasher comedy TOTALLY KILLER with Kiernan Shipka and Julie Bowen. She is also a graduate of The Second City Toronto Improvisation program and a multi-lingual lover of accents. This combination resulted in her one woman short film, The Intervention. It has shown in Film Festivals across North America and the Caribbean and won multiple awards. Kimberly has spent several years studying with Margie in her master class, feeding her creativity and sense of play on a weekly basis. She encourages actors to let their curiosity and empathy feed their creativity. Stay curious.
